ACC supports Thales Team in Assessment Phase Award of Allied Rapid Reaction Corp‘s Command and Control Information System (ARRC C2IS)

 

OLD HARLOW, Essex, 18 May 2005 — Advanced Concept Consulting Ltd, the supplier of Strategic Proposal and Programme Management consulting services, provided proposal management support to the Thales Team for the ARRC C2IS assessment phase where they were selected as the preferred bidder.

ARRC C2IS will provide the NATO High Readiness Force (Land) HQ with a set of integrated command and control tools which will increase the command’s operational tempo whilst lowering the overall cost to support and sustain the information system. The UK is the framework nation for the HQ ARRC with its headquarters in Rheindahlen, Germany.

 

The Assessment Phase focuses on the MoD’s successful completion through Main Gate. The Thales team will assist the MoD by selecting the Battle Management System and reducing key technical risks through demonstrations along with a valid whole life cost model and supporting documentation to transition into the Design, Development, Supply & In-Service Support (DDS&IS) phase.

 

Advanced Concept Consulting provided overall proposal and technical management leadership to shape a winning and credible offer for the Thales Team, comprising of Thales Defense UK, Raytheon Systems Limited and Computer Science Corporation UK. ACC also provided an integrated cost and 3-point analysis model which integrates cost, schedule, performance and risk in accordance with the MoD’s Acquisition Management System (AMS) three point estimating guidelines. The whole life cost model provides information to help shape and justify the future capabilities of the HQ ARRC over the next 20 years.
